As a result, rework in later processes is increasing and development is being delayed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">REVY enables \u201cAI-driven design\u201d by drawing on the vast technical documentation accumulated within a company and the tacit knowledge of experienced designers. We are working to automate the entire design process, from quality function deployment in conceptual design and the selection of reusable designs in basic design to FMEA, DRBFM and drawing checks in detailed design.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our strength lies in combining two capabilities. The first is AI technology that handles 2D drawings and 3D CAD, for which we hold a patent linking 3D CAD geometric analysis with searches of past defect cases. The second is our expertise in design processes, built on an understanding of how design should be done that goes beyond even that of our customers. Together, they allow us to automate design work that general-purpose AI cannot handle.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since August 2026, we have been selected for GENIAC, a program of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and NEDO, and are conducting research and development with six manufacturers to make technical documents and drawings usable by AI.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We aim to bring fast design, free of omissions and rework and not dependent on experienced experts, to manufacturing across Japan.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AIONA develops and provides REVY, an AI agent that automates design work in manufacturing.
