Born in Tokyo in 1964, he is an employment journalist. After working for a major manufacturing company, he joined Recruit (formerly Recruit Human Center), where he was involved in planning and promoting new business ventures and designing human resources systems. He later served as editor-in-chief of the magazine *Works* at the Recruit Works Institute. From 2008 to 2013, he held the position of editor-in-chief of *HRmics* while serving as a Fellow at Recruit Agent. His career includes roles such as an employment promotion advisor for Hiroshima Prefecture, a member of the administrative and fiscal reform committee for Nara Prefecture, a member of the Labor Policy Council under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and a visiting professor at both the College of Business Administration at Ritsumeikan University and the MBA program at Chuo University\u2019s Graduate School.
