The advance of technology is bringing forth an “Alien Intelligence” \u2014 an intelligence whose logic and sensibilities differ fundamentally from our own. This is not merely the arrival of a convenient tool, but humanity’s first encounter with an entirely new form of intelligence. How will this unknown intelligence and human creativity meet, collide, and ultimately resonate?<\/p>\n\n

This session brings together Takashi Ikegami, a pioneer of “Artificial Life” research who creates life itself within the computer, and Masayo Takahashi, who has expanded the possibilities of the human body and life through iPS-cell regenerative medicine. From the intersection of AI, life, and creativity, they reconsider the new relationship between humans and technology.<\/p>\n\n

Will alien intelligence take away human creativity, or amplify it? Can it move beyond being a mere “imitation machine” to become a “resonant partner” that pushes past the limits of what humans can imagine?
