After receiving his master's degree in Civil Engineering at the Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, in 1978, he joined Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. He served as the President and Director from 2010 to 2015, and then as the Chairman of the Board of Directors until 2020. Since 2020, he has been an Advisor to the company and has also served as the Chairman of the Central Japan Economic Federation, contributing to the development of the regional economy.

Chancellor, Tokai National Higher Education and Research System
Chancellor Seiichi Matsuo has been active in the field of medicine for over 40 years, with a career spanning research, medical practice and institutional governance. After receiving his Doctorate in Medicine at Nagoya University in 1981 and spending time as a research fellow in New York, Chancellor Matsuo worked as a physician before returning to Nagoya University, being made Professor at the Graduate School of Medicine in 2002. In 2004, he became Vice Director of Nagoya University Hospital, being promoted to Director in 2007.At Nagoya University, he has served as Vice President, as well as heading up a number of organizations and committees including Academic Research and Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration. He was made President of Nagoya University in April 2015 and served in that position until March 2022, taking up his current position as Chancellor of Tokai National Higher Education and Research System upon its foundation in April 2020.

Governor of Aichi Prefecture
Hideaki Ohmura is the Governor of Aichi Prefecture.He joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1982, where he built his career in national administration over more than 14 years. He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives for the first time in 1996, and served five consecutive terms until 2010. During these terms in the Diet, Ohmura assumed a series of important offices including Parliamentary Secretary of Economy, Trade and Industry; Parliamentary Secretary of Cabinet Office; Senior Vice Minister of Cabinet Office; and Senior Vice Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. In 2010 he was appointed as the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Audit and Oversight of Administration, House of Representatives.Ohmura left the Diet and started a new career in regional politics as the Governor of Aichi Prefecture in 2011. He has so far been re-elected third for this position, bringing his time in office as the Governor to more than 10 years.

Assumed the position of Representative Director of Kingsoft Japan .Inc in March 2005. Elected as a member of the Aichi Prefectural Assembly in April 2011. Appointed Deputy Mayor of City of Nagoya in December 2017 and Representative Director of Magnolia Inc. again in December 2021. Assumed the current position in November 2024.

Hiromi OKUDA

Hiromi Okuda received her Master degree in Social Welfare from the graduate school of University of Bombay (currently renamed as University of Mumbai). She started a conference business in 1991 that specializes in IT, and supports bringing a number of IT private events into Japan. Ms. Okuda established Wiz. Group, Inc. in 2001, and provides assistance for a large number of IT companies to hold conferences in Japan. Since 2008, she began support for start-ups development, and engages in ecosystem building of start-ups in order to form start-up communities in local areas both inside and outside of Tokyo. In 2013, Ms. Okuda began Takaranoyama Inc. in an underpopulated area, to research what IT can do to solve social problems in the region. Social issues are hardest to see from the actual site of development, and she is trying to connect these issues with the development of IT products.
