Gani is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning strategy, technology, financial services, and business building. He currently serves as Managing Partner of Living Lab Ventures (LLV), the corporate venture capital arm of Sinar Mas Land, and concurrently as Chief Data Officer of Sinar Mas Land.
Throughout his tenure at Sinar Mas Land, Gani has played a key role in building new businesses and spearheading strategic growth initiatives beyond the Group’s core property business, including F&B, Fiber Optic and more. Today, he leads several of Sinar Mas Land’s future-growth agendas, including venture investment and startup ecosystem development through LLV, AI/ data-driven transformation across the Group, and healthcare business for the BSD Special Economic Zone (SEZ). He is passionate about fostering cross-border collaboration topics and bringing innovations from overseas to Indonesia.
Prior to Sinar Mas Land, Gani held leadership and strategic roles at Grab, CIMB Niaga, and Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He earned his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds an MSc degree from DePaul University and a BBA the University of Wisconsin.
