After graduating from the Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine, he worked as a physical therapist at a medical institution. Recognizing the critical importance of preventive medicine, which could not be fully addressed through clinical care alone, he founded PREVENT Inc. in 2016 and assumed the role of CEO. The company currently provides “Mystar,” an IT service that uses a mobile app to deliver personalized health support to individuals with a history of lifestyle-related diseases.
In September 2018, he launched a consortium of 14 health insurance societies in Aichi Prefecture focused on preventing the progression of lifestyle-related diseases and served as its secretariat. Today, the service has been adopted by more than 100 health insurance societies nationwide. In 2020, PREVENT was selected for “J-Startup CENTRAL,” a program recognizing promising startups from the Tokai region with global potential. In December 2023, the company became part of the Sumitomo Life Insurance Group.
