Yukiko Kato is Director and Executive Officer at SBI Investment Co., Ltd., where she leads the Corporate Venture Capital Department. With over 22 years of experience in venture investment, she manages multiple CVC funds and promotes strategic partnerships between startups and corporations. Before joining SBI, she worked in the Investment Banking Division at ING Securities and helped launch BioVision Capital, a bio-healthcare focused VC.
In 2015, she was ranked No. 1 on Forbes Japan’s Midas List. She also serves as a committee member of the Open Innovation Committee at the Japan Venture Capital Association (JVCA).
