Centered on its startup support hub, XOSS POINT., Kumamoto City hosts more than 300 events and seminars a year, builds communities, discovers and nurtures entrepreneurs, and provides support tailored to each growth stage. Through the Kumamoto Challenge-Solving Fund, established this August, the city invests in startups from across Japan and around the world that are tackling Kumamoto’s challenges, starting with traffic congestion.
