Born in Nagoya, Japan, in 1974, he began his career in sales at Nihon Kohden Corporation, where he worked for three years. He then joined Axiv.com (now CARTA HOLDINGS Inc.) as its fifth member, playing a key role in launching the company’s online sweepstakes advertising business and content distribution business.
In 2008, he founded SAMURAI INCUBATE INC.
Guided by the mission, “Go Action！ Go Change！” he has dedicated himself to investing in and supporting the growth of early-stage startups. To date, he has managed ten venture capital funds and has invested in and supported the growth of more than 250 startups in Japan and abroad.
He is also the author of Entrepreneurship in Your 20s: How to Build Winning Ideas and Leadership.
