I serve as an executive officer in charge of Open Innovation/CVC and Brand Communication at Sumitomo Life. Our key focus is WaaS (Well-being as a Service), through which we are developing well-being services and digital insurance solutions.
To expand well-being businesses globally from Japan, Sumitomo Life has established the General Incorporated Association WE AT, together with the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, the University of Science, and a consortium of private companies. I serve as Co-Representative of this organization.
Additionally, I am a member of the Cabinet Office’s Committee of Experts for the Second Phase Startup Ecosystem City Formation Plan, and also serve as a committee member at AMED (Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development), among other roles.
