In addition to his writing activities as a standard-bearer of the modern short short story, he has served as the head judge for the Botchan Literary Award and other prizes. He is also active in a wide range of activities, such as holding lectures on how to write short short stories.He has also held numerous workshops on the “Short Short Idea Method,” which he has developed for corporate clients.He is the author of many books, including “Umiiro no Bin. Hiromi Okuda received her Master degree in Social Welfare from the graduate school of University of Bombay (currently renamed as University of Mumbai). She started a conference business in 1991 that specializes in IT, and supports bringing a number of IT private events into Japan. Ms. Okuda established Wiz. Group, Inc. in 2001, and provides assistance for a large number of IT companies to hold conferences in Japan. Since 2008, she began support for start-ups development, and engages in ecosystem building of start-ups in order to form start-up communities in local areas both inside and outside of Tokyo. In 2013, Ms. Okuda began Takaranoyama Inc. in an underpopulated area, to research what IT can do to solve social problems in the region. Social issues are hardest to see from the actual site of development, and she is trying to connect these issues with the development of IT products.

Born in Nagoya, Japan. After founding a business as a student and later transferring its operations, she traveled around the world, experiencing the cultures and arts of various countries. Upon returning to Japan, she engaged in supporting the Japanese market entry of overseas IT companies at a venture capital firm. In 2013, she founded Ima Inc. with the goal of integrating traditional Japanese culture, artisanal skills, and researchers' aspirations into practical applications in society. In addition to implementing Japanese craftsmanship and decision-making processes in primary industries within AI, she is also involved in market implementation projects for research and development at Toyota Motor Corporation. She lectures on "Social Implementation of AI" at Digital Hollywood University and the University of Tsukuba, where she serves as an associate professor. She also serves as an advisor for the AICHI MOBILITY INNOVATION Project.
