This session will explore how robots, humans, and even robots themselves communicate, and how this will impact society, work, and daily life in the future. We will discuss new forms of interaction, emotional exchange, and the efficiency of communication enabled by AI and robotics. Participants will explore ways to reshape future relationships with robots and rethink the nature of communication in a world where robots play an integral role.

After launching many products as a product planner for mobile phones and smartphones, he became the planning and development leader for the communication robot 'RoBoHoN' and established the business, which started in 2016. Currently, in addition to the communication robot business, he is responsible for various projects, including a digital health business that features smart hearing aids that adjust hearing in conjunction with smartphones, as well as solution services for accommodation facilities.

1Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1973, he was involved in aerodynamic development for Formula 1 at Toyota Motor Corporation and participated in the "Pepper" project, an emotion-recognition personal robot, at SoftBank. In 2015, he founded GROOVE X and became its CEO. He develops and sells the family-type robot "LOVOT." He is also the author of the book Warm Technology: Stories of the Future.

Makiko Shinoda serves as a Director at Yell, where they support organizational transformation through online 1-on-1 sessions with external professionals. From 2008 to 2018,Makiko was the Director and CFO of Hobonichi.Prior to Hobonichi, Makiko held various roles at The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, McKinsey & Company, Novartis, and Nestlé. Makiko has a deep interest in the dynamics between people and organizations, as well as in promoting women's empowerment. Additionally, Makiko served as the supervising translator for the book "You're Not Listening: What You're Missing and Why It Matters".Makiko holds a degree in Economics from Keio University, an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
