Welcome Address :Exploring the Best of STATION Ai
Opened in October last year, STATION Ai is Japan’s largest startup support hub. In this session, the highlights of today’s program will be introduced alongside insights into how to best enjoy STATION Ai, presented by its representative and startups offering services within the hub. Note: After the session, there will be a lottery for a special STATION Ai tour, offering an exclusive experience not usually available.

After joining SoftBank Corp., he gained experience in the Human Resources Department before moving to the President's Office at SoftBank Group Corp. where he was responsible for corporate strategy. Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, he managed renewable energy projects as the Business Planning Department Manager at SB Energy Corp. From 2014, he promoted the development of internal entrepreneur training programs and hands-on support at SB Innoventure Corp. Since September 2021, he has been seconded to STATION Ai, where he currently holds his present position.

After retiring from competitive swimming, which he continued from the age of 4 until his fourth year at university, he joined a SaaS vendor company in Tokyo as a new graduate and worked extensively in the value chain of media and SaaS businesses. Utilizing that experience, he started his own business at the age of 24 and developed a media business for swimming schools, and a year later sold the business to a listed company with a view to expanding nationwide. OptFit Co., Ltd. was established with the desire to create a society where AI and humans can coexist.

While studying at Chuo University in 2004, joined an advertising company within the GMO Internet Group. Became the youngest director in the group and later served as a representative director for 10 years. Successfully launched multiple businesses utilizing ad technology, expanding the organization to a scale of 100 employees. Joined SQUEEZE Inc. in January 2025 and assumed the role of Executive Officer, overseeing business development and marketing.

After graduating from Hiroshima University's Faculty of Integrated Science, I joined Sangetsu, a trading company specializing in interior materials, where I was engaged in sales. Later, after working in sales and corporate planning office at Aidma HD, I started personal business. Since starting personal business, I have been involved in the launch of new businesses for several startups and listed companies, including an Ed Tech startup, a 3D printer manufacturing directional acoustic microphone, and Prop Tech. I have been building services from a branding and marketing perspective.

Hiromi Okuda received her Master degree in Social Welfare from the graduate school of University of Bombay (currently renamed as University of Mumbai). She started a conference business in 1991 that specializes in IT, and supports bringing a number of IT private events into Japan. Ms. Okuda established Wiz. Group, Inc. in 2001, and provides assistance for a large number of IT companies to hold conferences in Japan. Since 2008, she began support for start-ups development, and engages in ecosystem building of start-ups in order to form start-up communities in local areas both inside and outside of Tokyo. In 2013, Ms. Okuda began Takaranoyama Inc. in an underpopulated area, to research what IT can do to solve social problems in the region. Social issues are hardest to see from the actual site of development, and she is trying to connect these issues with the development of IT products.
