Currently responsible for business development in digital financial projects and cybersecurity resilience services utilizing blockchain infrastructure at Digital Asset Markets. Since 2021, I have been actively promoting Japan’s Web3 national strategy from the private sector’s perspective, working with JPYC, SBINFT, and SBI VC Trade. After graduating from Tokai High School and the Faculty of Engineering at Gifu University, I spent 15 years working in public sector roles at Juroku Bank and Ichinomiya City Hall in Aichi Prefecture. During this time, I became fascinated by technological innovation and moved to Tokyo to pursue new opportunities.

Ryosuke leads initiatives related to digital innovation in financial sector as Chief FinTech Officer of the JFSA. He also serves as the Co-chair of Virtual Asset Task Force, FATF. Prior to his current position, he has conducted a research on regulatory framework and governance mechanism in decentralized financial system as the Senior Fellow of Cyber SMART research center at Georgetown University from July 2019 to June 2021. He holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Takeshi is a serial Fintech entrepreneur, and Co-founder & CEO of GFTN Japan, actively spearheading ecosystem building and international collaborations.Additionally, he sits on the committee for the Government of Japan's Regulatory Sandbox and is a member of the experts group, jointly organized by the Digital Agency and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry focusing on international data governance.Before starting his own startup in the Fintech industry, Takeshi worked as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch, gaining expertise in capital markets. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he worked at Boston Consulting Group.He formerly served as Vice-chair at Fintech Association of Japan, where he played a pivotal role in navigating international collaborations for 6 years.
