Graduated from Nagoya University School of Law in 1996 and joined Marubeni Corporation. Specialised in fashion business, handling product development, production, SCM, retail, investment, collaboration with start-ups, and launching new D2C ventures, alongside broad experience in accounting, project management, and M&A. Additionally, seconded to an LNG export company in Peru, GU in Japan, and a fast fashion company in the UK, addressing management challenges. Assumed current position in April 2023. Concurrently serves as head of Marubeni Innovation Lab Agora, generating open innovation originating from Chubu region. From November 2024, appointed as a visiting faculty member at Nagoya University's D-Center.

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Tokyo. Spent childhood in the Netherlands and developed an interest in solving social issues faced by humanity, including environmental problems. Traveled to over 60 countries, with Venice being the favorite city. In the concrete research lab, worked on developing a new material made from food waste, aiming to make construction materials more sustainable and add value to food waste. In October 2021, co-founded fabula Inc. with Takuma Oishi and Daiki Matsuda, with the statement "Creating inspiration from waste," seeking to add value to all types of waste.

After graduating from International Christian University (ICU), she worked at several financial institutions, including Fuji Bank and Deutsche Securities. She developed an interest in fermentation technology and enrolled in the Department of Brewing Science at Tokyo University of Agriculture's Faculty of Applied Biosciences, graduating in March 2009. In the same year, she founded Ferment Station Co., Ltd. and became its CEO, a position she holds to this day.
