Shinnosuke Ubukata is the President and CEO of Ubukata Industries Co., Ltd., a device manufacturer which call themselves the ‘Safety Innovator’. He has graduated from Grand Valley State University, Michigan, USA. After working at P&G Japan and in the reuse/recycling industry, he joined Ubukata Industries Co., Ltd. in 2017. After gaining experience in the manufacturing and the sales department, he took charge of the global marketing department in 2021. Master of Engineering from Gifu University, specializing in polymer chemistry. Sensing the great potential of the technology he was engaged in research, he took his 2nd year off from graduate university and founded a company with his professor at 23. By combining technological capabilities based in the Gifu region as a textile production center, they are working to prevent infectious diseases caused by mosquitoes and other vectors and to develop fluorine-free materials and other products.
