Since 2013, Kenji Fujita has led the development of innovative risk solutions in collaboration with venture capital firms and startup accelerators, leveraging cutting-edge insurtech to support startup growth. Concurrently serving as a Partner at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Capital, he focuses on venture investment, business matching, and supporting portfolio companies through open innovation.
In addition to his corporate roles, he serves as a mentor and advisor to numerous local governments, including as Special Advisor to the Shibuya Startup Ecosystem. Appointed Representative Director of the Innovators Platform Association in 2025, he is committed to bringing together innovators from across Japan and fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem.
