The Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank (OKB) is a regional financial institution headquartered in Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture, which celebrated its 130th anniversary in March 2026. It operates 157 branches in Japan, mainly in the Tokai region, and four overseas offices. In April 2024, the bank opened OKB SCLAMB, an open innovation hub at Gifu University. OKB SCLAMB is a co-creation space that aims to create new businesses and value by connecting researchers’ technologies and knowledge, startup ideas, and the challenges and needs of local companies. Leveraging OKB’s network of local companies and connecting diverse players from industry, academia and government, it works to commercialize research results, bring them into society and generate innovation from the region.
