Most recently in the Tokai region, we are working with partners such as Hasetora Spinning in Gifu Prefecture to demonstrate a “nature-positive regional economic model that prospers together with nature.” By combining long-established textile manufacturing sites with the latest biological and social sciences, we are building a next-generation manufacturing model that turns industrial activities, often seen as an environmental burden, into “value that enriches ecosystems and water.”
