Godot Inc. is a deep-tech startup researching the principles of human behaviour, with R&D operations across four hubs: Kobe, Tokyo, Vienna, and New York. By using AI agents to simulate why and how people act, we allow the impact of policy decisions to be tested in advance — augmenting human judgement rather than replacing it, and enabling co-production among citizens, governments, and other stakeholders. We also use this behavioural understanding as a foundation for building machines, working towards a society where autonomous robots that understand humans and operate alongside them can support human well-being. At TechGALA, we present CAL-Twin, a participatory urban climate digital twin developed through a Japan–Austria joint research project selected under Eureka and supported by NEDO.
