Yodo Labs is a Science Tokyo–recognised venture and a physical AI startup focused on inspection and maintenance robotics. As more factories and infrastructure rely on automated systems, a single unplanned stop can be very costly.
Our core technology is change detection: by comparing site imagery and audio over time, we pick up the small shifts (wear, corrosion, abnormal sounds, misalignment) on equipment and surroundings that come before a failure. Each site can tune the system with the know-how of its veteran engineers, so what they would notice is captured and kept.
Operators see key risks early and act before downtime happens. We then bring this into robotics, so detection and, increasingly, the response happen on site. The result is continuous inspection and maintenance that helps Japan’s industries keep running as skilled labour becomes scarce.
