WMATCHA & CO. is a Japanese tea startup founded by a tea farmer in Wazuka, Kyoto. We connect directly with small-scale producers across Japan and operate WTEA, a direct trade platform that delivers traceable Japanese tea to buyers around the world (14 growing regions, 33 countries).
At our booth, we will present a demonstration that combines Japanese tea with EEG measurement. You can experience on the spot how your focus and relaxation change before and after drinking a cup of tea. Even with the same tea, responses differ from person to person. This experience is the starting point for our next vision: delivering not “a tea that is good for everyone,” but “the tea that suits you today.”
