Barah Innovation Co., Ltd. develops customized manufacturing solutions that overcome the limitations of conventional manufacturing methods by integrating 3D printing and injection molding technologies.
The company’s core technology, GIM (Geometric Injection Molding), is an integrated manufacturing technology that uses high-resolution 3D printing to produce water-soluble sacrificial molds for injection molding. After molding, the sacrificial molds are dissolved and removed, enabling the production of complex geometries and intricate internal structures that are difficult to demold or challenging to achieve with conventional molds.
The company’s solutions accommodate a wide range of materials, from metal and ceramic feedstocks to plastics. By seamlessly integrating material development and selection, 3D-printed mold fabrication, injection molding, and post-processing, Barah Innovation provides optimized manufacturing solutions tailored to product geometries and required performance characteristics.
BARAH-CORE WSR PRO — Water-Soluble 3D Printing Resin
A photocurable, water-soluble 3D printing resin developed for fabricating sacrificial molds for injection molding. The printed molds can be dissolved and removed in an aqueous solution at 50–80°C within approximately 10–12 hours. This material enables the manufacture of components with complex geometries and internal structures that are difficult to demold using conventional molds.
BARAH-CORE RIGID RESIN — High-Strength 3D Printing Resin
A photocurable 3D printing resin with excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance, designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures encountered during injection molding. It can be used to fabricate reusable 3D-printed injection molds and is suitable for prototyping, low-volume production, and rapid mold fabrication in response to design changes.
Zirconia Feedstock — Ceramic Injection Molding Material
A ceramic feedstock developed for GIM solutions, featuring a customized composition of zirconia powder and binder. It is formulated with consideration for moldability and subsequent debinding and sintering processes.
CoCrMo Feedstock — Metal Injection Molding Material
A metal feedstock developed for GIM solutions, featuring a customized composition of Co-Cr-Mo alloy powder and binder. It is formulated with consideration for moldability and subsequent debinding and sintering processes, enabling its application in metal component manufacturing.
