ThermieL is a thermal measurement startup spun out of Nagoya University. Using its proprietary lock-in thermography-based periodic laser heating method, the company creates non-contact, non-destructive two-dimensional maps of thermal properties such as thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and interfacial thermal resistance. By visualizing local differences in the thermal characteristics of materials and bonded interfaces that are difficult to capture with conventional measurement, ThermieL helps advance thermal design and improve development efficiency. Serving a wide range of fields, including semiconductors, electronic components, heat dissipation materials, automotive and aerospace, it offers contract measurement services, measurement equipment development and thermal design support.
