Tak Umezawa

At Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), Umezawa has led the launch
and growth of CIC Tokyo, CIC Fukuoka, and O-Nexus in
Osaka—some of Japan’s largest startup innovation hubs—as part of
CIC, a company originating in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Collectively, these three startup centers host approximately 600
companies and serve as major innovation hubs across life sciences,
climate tech, and other emerging sectors.
At KEARNEY, Umezawa has served major Japanese and U.S.
corporations for 30 years, with expertise in strategy, innovation,
