Masatada Kobayashi joined Rakuten at its founding in 1997. He led the EC business and served as President, Americas (2012) and President, APAC in Singapore (2014). Now Group Chief Culture Officer (CCuO), he founded the Seichu Scholarship (2001), was named a WEF Young Global Leader (2011), and is a father of five (three daughters and two sons).
