He became a lecturer at Kochi University of Technology in 2020, an associate professor in 2022, a professor and director of the Research Institute from 2024, and a chief professor from 2026, specializing in polymer chemistry and crystal engineering. He has also been a JST Emergent Researcher since 2021.
