Everblack is an AI media-tech company based in Ulsan, South Korea, building ENCHANT, an on-device AI assistant that automates and supports the entire editing process in film and TV production.
ENCHANT starts by reading the slate in each clip right after the shoot and automatically organizing tens of thousands of files into script order. From there, it supports editors throughout the edit, taking repetitive work off their hands and raising productivity.
– Search for scenes in natural language
– Filter and find footage without a slate by analyzing the visual features of each shot
– Search dialogue through on-device speech recognition
– Generate a rough cut automatically by matching the script to the footage
– Review and share work with the team through built-in collaboration
– Integrate with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Avid Media Composer
All AI processing runs on the user’s own machine, so camera-original footage never leaves the production. ENCHANT is currently in PoC with major Korean broadcasters.
